THE DANA DRESSER

This mid-century inspired dovetailed dresser in walnut was originally designed for one of our first studio patrons. He appreciates exposed joinery and so dovetails were a natural choice. We dovetail the sides to the top for this dresser both for beauty and function. Dovetails are one of the strongest ways to join two boards at a right angle. The entirety of this piece is constructed of solid wood. The drawer faces are solid walnut with the handles cut into the tops of the faces. The cut is recessed so your fingers can purchase into the handle comfortably. The drawers themselves are solid dovetailed walnut mounted with euro style soft close under mount slides. The base is a simple plinth style base lifting the case 1 7/8” off of the ground. The finish is a durable low sheen spray finish.
